The unidirectional knife gate valves of the K series have a one‐piece cast body with guides to support gate and seat wedges.
The unidirectional knife gate valves of the K series provide high flow rates with low pressure drop. Various seat and packing materials are available.

The unidirectional knife gate valve of the K series is suitable for liquids that contain a maximum of 5% suspended solids. If it is used for dry solids in gravity feed applications it should be installed with the arrow on the body pointing in the opposite direction to the flow.

Working pressures:
‐ND50 to ND150: 10kg/cm²
‐ND200: 8kg/cm²
‐ND250 to ND300: 6kg/cm²
‐ND350 to ND400: 5kg/cm²
‐ND450 to ND600: 3kg/cm²
‐ND700 to ND1400: 2kg/cm²
These pressures must be applied to the valve in the direction of the arrow marked on the valve’s body. Due to the valve’s design with gate support guides, 30% of these pressures can be applied in the opposite direction to the arrow.
